In which world do you want to live?
We will use the online Warriors Without Weapons game to select participants. Each stage of the game will show us how you resolve different issues. There are no right or wrong answers. We just want to know how it is you roll your sleeves up.
As you play you will be able to see how other players have resolved the same issues. In the process of playing, you will see even more clearly how the world around you could be changed and how our different worlds are connected.
The rules are the same for everyone, but not the results. Some people are going to give up at first, others half way through the game. Those that make it all the way to the end will have a chance to participate in the Warriors Without Weapons program.
You should know that everything you do will be taken into account. The game is open, participatory, and collaborative. Be creative, and make good use of words and images.

Take the first step: Create a blog!
The first thing you have to do to participate in the selection process is to create a blog. There are lots of free blogging services such as http://www.blogger.com/ and http://wordpress.com/
Choose the one you prefer. It’s best if you create a nickname and add warriorswithoutweapons. For example: http://johnwarriorswithoutweapons.wordpress.com
Your blog should begin with a personal presentation of the things that you think will help us start to get to know who you are. Don’t forget to say where you are.
Send the address of your blog to: warriors2009@institutoelosbr.org.br before August 14, 2008 and you’ll be part of the Warriors Without Weapons selection process!
The game will be played in a series of 7 steps over 45 days. Wait until August 15 to receive instructions about the first step.
We can’t wait for the game to start!
