Would you like to apply for the 2009 Warriors Without Weapons?
The program is small and can only accommodate 60 students or professionals between the ages of 18 and 35. We will use the Warrior’s Way game to select participants. Go to the warrior’s way on the menu above to learn how it works. Play seriously and play joyfully.
Important:
After this experience, you will never be the same. If you do come, don’t forget to warn family and friends.
If you are accepted into the program, you will be informed no later than October 1 and will receive the registration forms and further information about where you’ll be staying, how to get to Santos, etc. You will have until November 1 to confirm that you will participate.
For those who were selected, the registration fee is U$3,000 . This fee includes the cost of your lodging, travel within Santos, and all breakfasts and suppers. Lunches will be eaten in the community where we work and paid for by participants (expect to spend about U$4 per lunch).
Participants must bring their own bed sheets, bath towels, war (work) clothes, one outfit of typical clothing from your homeland, one set of more formal clothing (for a reception), mosquito repellent, a camera and/or video camera (optional), and drawing materials. And don’t forget to bring your toothbrush!
Do you need financial support in order to participate? Don’t give up!
If you are selected and have limiting financial conditions, please send us an e-mail explaining your need for support. We trust that, together with you, we will be able to find a solution.
Our goal is for financial reasons not to keep anyone from participating.

A friend attended the last programme of warriors without weapons and I must say she was extreemely transformed .I will love to experience this transformation so that I will recreate my creation and contribute better to humanity .thankyou

Hi Miriam. Yes, I believe we can change the world. Actually I was thinking about that the other day: what does it mean to change the world? I believe it has a lot with changing the relationships among human beings and between us and the environment. I think in order to promote th change we want to see in the world we have to act, and the time to start is right now.

I find this programme amazing in trying to have a better world. At times we can’t observe that we are not our habits,we can make and break them so we need not be victims of conditions because we don’t have a clear knowledge of who we are first and what to do to have a better world to live in.
